Islam Alkirnawi
Islam Alkirnawi is A New Dawn’s second in command. After earning her degree in education, Islam began her work as a math teacher in Rahat. She quickly realized she could do more to improve the lives of her students and began working with A New Dawn as its first Youth Coordinator. She is now an invaluable part of A New Dawn and works passionately to help the Bedouin youth realize their potential. Alongside her work as a teacher and with A New Dawn, Islam continues to pursue her education and currently is working on a master’s degree in Math, Technology, and Information at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Islam is fluent in Arabic, Hebrew, and English
